The Shipyarddoor® Crane Hangar Door is a T-shaped, flexible door system designed for buildings with overhead cranes. It offers unlimited width and height, providing high insulation around crane paths—where standard doors fail.

Engineered for durability, flexibility, and thermal performance, it’s ideal for shipyards, mining, waste management, steel plants, and heavy industry. A fully customized solution for efficient crane access with superior insulation.

    No height or width limits—up to 40m x 40m in a single section. T-shape configurations fully cover crane paths.

Comprised of:

  • Main Structure:
    Twin-layer fabric folds in opposite directions, mounted to horizontal aluminum or steel beams. Minimum door thickness: 600 mm. Intermediate beams retract via motor and include polyamide tires for smooth wind-resistant operation. Clear openings remain fully unobstructed when retracted.
  • Bottom Beams:
    Engineered to support intermediate beam weight and resist wind loads. Ensures complete bottom sealing during door closure.
  • Side Guides:
    Made of structural steel with aluminum rails bolted to the frame. Designed for strong weather-sealing and easy replacement. All guide rails include steel supports, unlike many competitors.
  • Cable System:
    Operated with up to two steel cables per door, routed inside side guides. Kink-free installation and large-diameter sheaves minimize wear. Sheaves are placed for easy technician access.

    Operated via “Open,” “Close,” and “Stop” buttons. Integrated audio/visual warnings activate before and during movement. Fully guided within weather-sealed vertical rails.
  • Manual Operation:
    Hand crank available for small doors. Generator backup recommended for large doors in case of power failure
